Where money actually changes hands

Posting, quoting and comparing are free on both sides. When a job goes ahead, the homeowner pays the contractor's quoted price (any deposit when the job is scheduled, the rest on completion) plus a 3.5% service fee when paying through BridgeTrade.

Pricing questions

Yes. Posting a job, receiving quotes, and comparing them costs homeowners nothing. When you hire, you pay the contractor's quoted price plus a 3.5% BridgeTrade service fee if you pay through the platform. The fee is shown in the quote total before you approve.
There is no commission, no subscription, and no lead fee — you keep 100% of the quoted price of every job you complete through the platform. The only optional charge is for instant payouts (1.5%, minimum $0.50, maximum $10); standard payouts are free.
On the marketplace, BridgeTrade earns the 3.5% service fee customers pay when they pay a contractor through the platform; part of it pays card-processing costs. Landlords who use the property-management tools pay a separate subscription.
The contractor, 100%. If the homeowner hires that contractor, the fee is credited back on the final invoice.
